ADHD -Diagnosis or Parenting?

6.1 million kids have been diagnosed with ADHD. Too many have been misdiagnose and put on medication. Most of these kids are BOYS. Boys tend to be more active than girls and thats because girls are often overlooked. Knowing the stages of development will assist parents in conversation with the pediatrician. I get alot of questions about concerns and I often refer parents back to the pediatrician first as most children are too young for testing. The behaviors are obvious if your child has ADHD but please note some are merely developmental stages of regular development. Stop allowing and looking for diagnosis as a form of excuse to coping with what is called bad parenting.
